Are You Still Real After The Breakup?

Are You Still Real After The Breakup?

Every now and then someone answers my newsletters asking me this:

“Is this a real person?”

I usually reply: “Yes, why wouldn’t I be?”

“Sorry, I was getting emails but thought it’s one of those websites sending me emails” is often the answer.

I get it, though.

There are so many dubious website owners out there who just want to make a quick buck out of your pain.

I hope that by now I have earned your trust and demonstrated that I really care for you and your situation …

So today I’d like to ask YOU this question:

Are YOU real?

Are you the person now who you are supposed to be, who you are destined to be?

I remember that I didn’t recognize myself anymore. All the stupid things I did to get her back, all that humiliation for nothing …

That was NOT the person I am.

But it went deeper than that.

For many years I felt that I was following a wrong path. I felt that I deviated from the course that was laid out for me by “the universe” (if that makes sense).

I felt like Nero in the “Matrix” … living one life, when there was so much more out there.

I hope I do not sound nuts … but maybe you can relate.

Because I know for a fact that many of you out there suddenly wake up after their breakup and discover that they completely diverged from the person they once were.

How did that happen?

There are two main reasons for this:

  1. Fear to live the life you deserve
  2. Neglecting the “character defining needs” during the relationship

A therapist friend once told me, the WHY is not so important as the HOW to fix it.

So your primary concern after you’ve gone through the “Physical DETOX” (and if you want during as well) must be to get yourself back.

And that’s the crux of the matter:

And a good way to start (that’s how we teach it in the DETOX Course) is to find out WHO you really are by going through our questionnaire of specifically designed questions that will uncover what makes YOU tick.

Once you understand the core of your being, you will know your “character defining needs” … needs that can NEVER be neglected during a relationship.

That seems like a small achievement, but it will have such a significant impact on all your future relationships.

It will guarantee that you stay who you are no matter the partner (that’s how you bullet-proof yourself from future breakups).

Does that make sense to you?
